Did you know that the sun is actually good for your eyes? Like with everything in life, balance is key, and just as your body needs Vitamin D, so do your eyes. Think of the sun as a recharging station. Receiving sunlight recharges and energizes your body & can stimulate your senses. “Sun Gazing” has been gaining popularity over the years and you can do this easily by gazing into the sun for short periods of time. Begin with 5-10 seconds at sunrise and sunset and as your eyes adjust, you can increase the time and gaze during different hours of the day. Listen to your body, and if anything doesn’t feel “right” don’t do it.
