The day I recorded this episode, nothing went as planned.
Before I even pressed record, I was dealing with technical issues I could not explain. My audio was not cooperating. My video was not cooperating. I sat there and did what I always do when I have exhausted my options. I asked for help. Not from a support chat, or a tutorial. I asked my spiritual team. And the next time I pressed record, it worked.
That is the episode in one paragraph.
But there is more to the story. After recording, the file came back with the ending cut off. I reached out for support; first to AI, then human. It took multiple rounds of help from multiple directions before the full episode was ready for you.
I could not have scripted a more fitting behind-the-scenes story for an episode called Help Is Always Available.
I have spent a lot of my life learning to balance my need for independence with letting people in to help. That is still a work in progress. Yet, when I do I let people help me, I feel warm and supported. Nurtured in a way that feels authentic, and not someone's duty. And usually, the person or people helping feel good too.
In this episode, I explore the many ways support shows up in our lives, from intuition and inner guidance to the people who step in when we need them most. I share personal stories of unexpected protection, including a multiple car highway accident I walked away from and a heart attack I survived alone at home. I also talk about the Invisalign journey I am currently on, and what it taught me about accepting help even when we think we can figure things out on our own.
The truth is, none of us are meant to do this alone. Help is always here. Sometimes it comes from a friend, a stranger, or from somewhere far beyond what we can see.
Remember, you are NOT alone. It is not weak to ask for help, and sometimes it is the most courageous way of being. We all know you are strong, and strong enough to do many things on your own, yet when it is needed, please ask.
Watch the episode here, and catch a new one every 2nd and 4th Thursday.
'Til next time, allow yourself to feel supported.
With love,
Lisa Eve
